TSÉVIÉ TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
From Lomé, we leave for the surroundings of Tsévié. We explore a village of potters where women work with clay from generation to generation. We will observe the different stages of the production of dishes, jars, and other clay objects.
Then we discover a small farm that practices organic farming. The farm tour takes us to identify the boma plants, as well as chickens, quails, guinea fowl, and goats. During the visit, we learn about all the facilities generating renewable energy.
At lunchtime, we sit down in the shade to taste the traditional dishes that the cook has prepared for us with the farm’s products. At the same time, we discuss with the owner of the farm, who tells us more about his fields of expertise.
We go to the Adjit’art Park in the afternoon, where Ake shows us his gigantic sculptures. Then we exchange with the artist around some refreshments.
To finish, we attend a show by a traditional storyteller assisted by musicians.
